“Precious moments, Le Goûter”
This is the french version of “The Afternoon Tea”.
Who does not have wonderful memories of the afternoon tea?. A quick nibble with friends after school, the little bite prepared by a loving grandmother, the comforting snack after a slightly cool swim. At any age, in all seasons, the Goûter is an enchanting break, a little gourmet pleasure without any guilt, a well-deserved break from a busy day!
The history of the goûter is old … Its importance has varied according to the passage of time: useful when the day had only two main meals, sophisticated when one held a party and wished to appear in society. Then at the end of the Second World War it was recommended for children, who made it one of the best times of their day! The variations of this small snack allow you to keep the hunger away until the evening meal. There are as many Goûters as there are people!
