Father’s Day

Father’s Day

As I reflect on Father`s Day, I think of all the men who I carry in my heart and my fond memories of those no longer with us.
To our grand-father Raymond Bertrand, who left us too early but his charisma, values and heritage will remain with us eternally.
To my uncle Larry Naughton, the perfect English gentleman, who embraced me with love when I arrived as a student in Bristol with my strong French accent.
To the husband and father of our 2 boys, Seph. A huge thank you to you, I have so much respect and admiration! He arrived with his “Chapeau Americain” and adapted so well to this rural part of France which has become his home. He is beyond words an amazing father and husband.
To my father, Jean François Bertrand. We do not have many pictures of him as he likes to remain in the shade and is always very discreet. He has a contagious wild spirit; his passion to travel and learn from new cultures opened our eyes and hearts to other ways of living!
And last but not the least to all of you dads, who follow us, have visited us and support us! Cheers to you all! Thérèse Bertrand
