Distillation
Distillation is in full swing at Cognac Bertrand.
It is a process that transforms wine into eau-de-vie.
Two stages are carried out to obtain an eau-de-vie with 70% alcohol, rich aromas, and a fine palate which will then be aged in oak barrels.
Our master distillers Samuel Bertrand, Hervé Cormelier and Romain David, work according to our traditional method and the rules of the art, thanks to their experience and know-how.
